Adding Covid19 Resources

We are starting a project to have community members add resources to the website so that people can find resources to help them through the current situation. This includes things like grocery stores and restaurants that are open, local farmers, government information sources, ways to keep entertained, and a lot more.

I'm hoping the community as a whole will be willing to help out with this. It's a lot of typing. I have put in a few resources and am going to be working on taking the raw information everyone will be entering and presenting it in a format that will make things easier to find and prettier to look at. The current system is a little crude but it lets people enter the information fairly easily.

I've made two short videos to help you get started. To do this work you need to have an account on the site, but you can create your own account. The first video shows you how to do that. Some of you already have accounts either because you signed up or you became a paid member. If that is the case then you just have to log in, which is the point in the process where the second video starts.

I'm sure there will be some problems. I intend to hold an online meeting to help out people who have issues with this and to answer any questions. There likely will be two sessions over the weekend. Watch this space.

The first training session will be held Saturday at 1 PM. Note that although you CAN participate by phone, it will not be a very useful session that way. However, you do have the option of joining in video by going to the link below and then using your phone for the audio portion.  We will see how the first session goes.
