Getting Cabin Fever? Are you really jonesing for the Friday Night Fish Fry Camraderie?

We've got a solution for you. WisCommunity is starting out a series of what we are calling Community Calls. Every so often we'll have an on-line meeting that the community can join and talk about -- stuff. Sometimes they will be open-ended and frivolous, sometimes they will be focused on a topic and will be an opportunity to learn about something, or share your knowledge. We're also hoping we can do some things like have our talented readers read stories, play a song, or entertain the on-line crowd some other way.

We did an invitation-only dry run a few days back, and though there were some rough edges, it went reasonably well. So - we're forging ahead and will be hosting our first Community Call at 7 PM on Friday, March 27. This will be a fun, easy meeting where we'll get to know each other and talk a little about what you'd like to see happen next.

These will be running on the Zoom meeting platform, so if you've used Zoom you'll know what to expect. If you haven't, there is a quick little video above on how to join a conference.

Details on the call and how to join are below.  See you Friday night. Bring a fish-fry to go and a beer. Or not, All we really expect is that you'll show up.

Well - that was a little disappointing. I was hoping for a better turnout for the VIrtual Fish Fry. Maybe too many people were out collecting real fish fry?  I got mine just in time from the Timber Inn in Downsville. Good as always.

I'm now not sure whether this is going to succeed. If you see this, leave some feedback.
