Tonight's speech on the Gulf Oil Crisis by the President is likely to be a defining moment in this administration, much as Bush's appearance after 9/11 was for his.  The problems in the gulf will affect large parts of the US for years to come, and thus far the outcome has been pretty bad (the oil-sucking ship taking up crude from the ocean floor is at the moment out of commission after being struck by lightning, in yet another setback).

The White House is currently taking questions on-line at http://youtube.com/whitehouse - feel free to go in and ask a question, or vote on which of the many questions already submitted you'd like to see asked. This is an interesting experiment.
