Hi -

Greg Palast's new film, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy is going to be opening soon in a few theatres.   The film is going to be available through r, and can be shown in a local theatre if we can get enough people to sign up to attend.  These showings are fairly painless - I've done them before through Tugg, which is a little better established but runs more toward mainstream films than documentaries. This would be a REALLY good opportunity for us to raise the visibility of the co-op.

I'm a little distressed though to see that it APPEARS that the Gathr viewings are not available till after the election. I've done this sort of viewing, it's kind of nice since you get to use a real movie theater, you don't need to lay out any money, and you get a chance to speak before or after the film --
