One of the topics of conversation in this week's Menomonie School Board meeting was making the board's activities more transparent. We started video taping the school board meetings because of some issues of transparency raised by some of our readers. The school board is currently considering multiple ways that the board can make its activities clearer to the Menomonie citizens.

The monthly Special Board Meeting was held on Monday, 11/26/2018 at 5:30 PM. This meeting discussed budget plans, and also included a discussion on board leadership, and an election of new board officers, as suggested at the last meeting.  The board agenda and board policy on leadership are attached. Lack of resources strikes again. Rather than being at tonight's Menomonie School Board Meeting, we will be videotaping the 67th District Candidate Forum in Bloomer.
