This is not really a change in recommendations so much as it is a reminder that despite the fact that the cases in the state and county have decreased, we are still in a pandemic and will need to remain vigilant until we reach herd immunity through vaccinations.

Menomonie City Council Considers Mask and Capacity Ordinances

September 17, 2020

In a special meeting at 5:30 this evening the Menomonie City Council considered an ordinance requiring mask-wearing in the city. They will also consider an ordinance on attendance limits. The agenda is attached and we will provide a video of the meeting later tonight.

People have been testifying both for and against the proposed ordinance and the meeting has at times been a little rowdy. We will have a recording of the Zoom meeting available later this evening.
