Wisconsin Leadership Development (WiLD)

About the Project

The WiLD Project has been launched to fundamentally do things differently—not pressing the reset button repeating what’s always been done and expecting different results. This is a project rooted in the core theory, if we make an intentional and ongoing investment in our state’s greatest resource—our people—this is our best opportunity to influence meaningful change. A path for giving voice to the people and communities across Wisconsin who are struggling most and have been left out of the decision-making process.

The Town Hall Project

We are a volunteer-powered, grassroots effort that empowers constituents across the country to have face-to-face conversations with their elected representatives. We are campaign veterans and first time volunteers. We come from a diversity of backgrounds and live across the country. We share progressive values and believe strongly in civic engagement. We research every district and state for public events with Members of Congress. Then we share our findings far and wide to promote participation in the democratic process and make it as accessible as possible for everyone.

Swing Left

Don't despair. Mobilize.

Control of the House in 2018 will be decided by a handful of Swing Districts, places where the last election was decided by a thin margin. Find your closest Swing District and join its team to learn about actionable opportunities to support progressives—and defeat Republicans—in that district, no matter where you live. We can stop Trump and the GOP agenda by working together NOW.

Flippable

, which play a huge role in national elections but are often overlooked. Information about these races is hard to find, and busy people don’t have the time to sift through it.

That’s where we come in. We’ll tell you which races are most important, who’s running, and how you can support them.

Sister District

These are dangerous times that demand resistance. But if you live in a solidly blue (or red) place, you might feel frustrated trying to figure out what you can do to fight back. The Sister District Project can help you find a place to channel your blue energy where it will actually make a difference.

Citizen Action of Wisconsin

Progress Centered Communication is Citizen Action of Wisconsin’s new strategy to create powerful progressive messages which we can use to win bold policies to dramatically expand opportunity and freedom in Wisconsin.

Progress Centered Communication builds on the most advanced persuasion research and the work of message development practitioners, but puts a stronger focus on developing clear strategic goals needed to disrupt the constraints that hold us back from bridging the gap between our values and current social realities.
