2020 Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Forum

Candidates for the Wisconsin Supreme Court spoke to the public Monday, Feb. 3, 6:30 p.m. at Sorensen Hall (formerly Millenium Hall), Room 205, 121 10th Ave. E, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie.

The three candidates are vying for a 10-year term on the Supreme Court. The field will be narrowed to two candidates at the primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and to one victor at the spring election on Tuesday, April 7. Voters will vote for one candidate at both the primary and spring elections.

Candidates are Daniel Kelly (I), Ed Fallone and Jill Karofsky. Karofsky appeared by video. The event is hosted by the civil liberty focused Menard Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovation with campus co-sponsors including the Honors College, Center for Applied Ethics, and Stout Student Association.   The League of Women Voters of the Greater Chippewa Valley is the community partner, and League members will be available for voter registration at the event.

The video has been replaced with a slightly higher-quality version with the audio sync problems fixed.
