The three candidates are vying for a 10-year term on the Supreme Court. The field will be narrowed to two candidates at the primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and to one victor at the spring election on Tuesday, April 7. Voters will vote for one candidate at both the primary and spring elections.

The free forum will include 5 minute opening and closing statements from each candidate. Danielle Wagner from WEAU-TV13 will moderate. A series of questions will be posed to the candidates (time will be allotted for some exchange of ideas between candidates).

Candidates are Daniel Kelly (I), Ed Fallone and Jill Karofsky. Karofsky will appear by video. The event is hosted by the civil liberty focused Menard Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovation with campus co-sponsors including the Honors College, Center for Applied Ethics, and Stout Student Association.   The League of Women Voters of the Greater Chippewa Valley is the community partner, and League members will be available for voter registration at the event.

A meet and greet with the candidates will begin at 5 p.m. in the Atrium of Sorensen Hall.

WisCommunity will either live stream the event or feature a video of the forum the day after.
