"Setting a deadline for withdrawal is setting a date for failure." -- President Bush, vetoing the appropriations bill with a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq.

He'd rather leave failure open-ended. Apparently he doesn't know he's already failed in Iraq. How ironic and fitting that it should come on the 4th anniverary of Bush declaring "Mission Accomplished."
