Big changes are coming to WisCommunity. Soon. You may have noticed that there have been fewer articles lately, which is largely because I have been working on a new website. .We will leave this site that is full of features that are never used (due to years-old plans that never happened) and will be moving to a new site built on much newer technology that will be moe maintainable in the long term. For those of you who care, it will be a move from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.

As most community members noticed this year the long-running tradition came to a pause. There is no car on the ice. Without the sturdy support of the ice, there was no klunker this year.

Jeff Smith - New Year brings New Opportunities

January 3, 2024

The New Year is a time to look ahead, set goals, and make changes for the better. The best way forward is to glance backward, taking stock of what went well and what can be improved. Then, with last year in the rearview mirror, we can focus on how to make big impacts for the year ahead.

Jeff Smith - A Wisconsin Winter Wonderland

December 7, 2023

Early winter is a magical time. Wisconsinites are blessed with four beautiful seasons and all the recreational opportunities that come with them. Before the doldrums of winter set in, when the season is fresh and new, it’s a great time to get back to the winter activities that truly make our state a winter wonderland. Rather than being stuck in the house, there’s a whole world outside to enjoy.
