Netroots Minnesota was a great experience, and I'm really interested in starting up an event in Wisconsin.  This would be similar to the Netroots Nation annual event, but for Wisconsinites.  There would be whatever progressive politicians we could get to come, workshops about blogging, about building hyperlocal web sites, citizen journalism, and whatever the planners would want to include.  Perhaps a gubernatorial candidate debate?

Workshops would include training on being a more effective blogger, organizing across the state, and building a progressive activist community. Comment here to let us know what you think and take the poll (unfortunately the first attempt at the poll seems to be dropping votes left and right, so we're trying again -- if you voted before on the previous poll, please do so again -- I promise we'll keep the votes this time.
