There will be several upcoming candidate forums, about which we will try to bring you news. The first is tonight, July 17 at 6 PM. This forum is for Democratic candidates for the senate, who will be running against incumbent Ron Johnson. This will be carried locally on channel 13, WEAU and is also being shown here. The debate will include Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, state Treasurer Sarah Godlewski, Milwaukee Bucks executive Alex Lasry, Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson and nonprofit executive Steven Olikara.
On July 24 there will be a debate for governor at 6 PM which will be viewable in the same places. The candidates participating will be Former Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, Michels Corporation co-owner Tim Michels, and State. Rep. Tim Ramthun.
UW-Milwaukee will host a debate for the candidates for Lieutenant Governor on July 20 and 21. It will be carried on Spectrum News One and at the moment it appears this may not be viewable in this part of the state.
