B. Approve Updates to the SDMA Strategic Plan

The Board will continue work on strategic planning in the SDMA based on the scheduled discussed during the June 13 meeting.

• June 13- Board reviews progress made on the 2021-2022 District Work Plan.
• June 27- Board reviews Strategic Plan Scorecard, SDMA Strategic Plan on a Page, SDMA Strategic Plan, and SDMA Strategic Plan Strikethrough version (Strikethroughs represent completed items). Some strikethrough items may be considered ongoing. 
• July 11- Board discusses any desired changes/updates to Key Pillar Strategies, Strategic Actions/Deliverables, and Measurable Goals
• July 25 - Board approves any changes/updates to Key Pillar Strategies and Strategic Actions/Deliverables
• August 8- Board reviews status update on measurable goals and the draft work plan for the 2022-2023 school year
• August 22-  Board approves work plan and measurable goals for the 2022-2023 school year.

During the July 11 meeting, the Board asked administration to provide recommendations for changes to the strategic plan. Those recommendations are attached. Please note that tasks that have already been completed are designated with strikethrough font, new or ongoing tasks are highlighted in yellow, and items for which Board feedback is needed are highlighted in blue.
