a. Motion to convene in closed session under Wisconsin Statues 19.85(1)(c) and (e), for the
purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation
data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility and for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public
properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business,
whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.
i. Discuss/consider City Administrator one-year performance evaluation pursuant to City
Administrator Employment Agreement dated March 14, 2023.
ii. Discuss/consider proposed purchase and price for public land.
13. Return to Open Session
a. Motion to reconvene in open session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(2).

The resolution to approve a 2026 Clean Sweep event was approved unanimously.

An agreement to let the Menomonie Area Aquatics group to use the Wakanda Waterpark while the high school pool is closed was approved. 

Jolene Sterk gave a presentation of the library annual report. 

A change to the city ordinances was approved to expand the defined area where setbacks are not required, driven by the  fact that Burger King is planning to demolish their building and rebuild on the same site. 

There was a lengthy discussion about the requested changes to the city water filtering system and the possibility of funding Cedar Corporation to improve the  filtration system in the wastewater treatment facility. The cost is $22,750. 

All  of the special event requests were approved.

Helen Holmberg was approved as the new member of the Menomonie Public Library Board. 

The Community Services Department requested to be able to sell a plow truck by auction.
