6D Review of Main Street sidewalk replacement bids – discussion and possible motion of award This is the sidewalk at the Mabel Tainter, Post Office, and Silver Dollar blocks. Recommended approval of the low bid with Skidsteer Guy at $56,480. This would be replacing the stamped concrete with the same cobblestone concrete in place at Trimble Dental and Menomonie Market, which has been holding up better with the exposure to salt. In these areas the city will probably need to re-seal the concrete occasionally. This was approved contingent on bonding and insurance.
