City Council City Manager Search Update

On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, members of the Eau Claire City Council met in closed session to consider the three city manager candidates and review feedback with respect to city manager candidate interviews that were held on January 14 and 15, 2021. City Council discussed the qualifications of the candidates and deliberated on a hiring decision and related next steps. The Council has provided direction to Baker Tilly, the City’s search consultant, to extend an offer of employment and commence negotiations with the selected candidate. The next Eau Claire City Manager will be announced once the candidate has been contacted and accepts the terms of appointment.
