For the second year, Menomonie Market Food Co-op has awarded grants to local farmers to promote the growth of regional farming, food processing, and product development in the Chippewa Valley.

During the Heartland Forum in Storm Lake Iowa several of the presidential candidates took part in informal press gaggles during the event.  These are interesting events, with a large number of TV and Radio reporters fighting for room near the interviewee. As is obvious from the video, I did not always win that battle, but bear with that. There are two interviews, one with Julian Castro and one with Amy Klobuchar.

I was privileged to be able to travel with the Wisconsin Farmers Union to the Farmers Bill of Rights rally in Storm Lake, Iowa on March 30. Members from around the state traveled together on a bus, with most of the members being from the Chippewa Valley area.

I have just left the Farmer's Rights rally in Storm Lake Iowa. I came down on the bus with the Wisconsin Farmers Union. We left Chippewa Falls at 4 AM today.  Later in the week there will be a video of the Rally, and photos.

Wis.Community will be traveling with the Wisconsin Farmers Union to the Heartland Forum in Storm Lake Iowa. The trip will include the forum itself, which is the first candidate forum of the 2020 campaign season. It will also include a Farmer Bill of Rights Rally sponsored by Family Farm Action.
