Forage owners Kristen Dexter and Michelle Thiede will facilitate a roundtable discussion focusing on Food Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from noon to 1 pm at Forage, a shared-use community kitchen and a dining/workshop area, located in Building 13, suite 212 of Banbury Place, 930 Galloway Street in Eau Claire. Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners in the food and restaurant business are encouraged to attend. The cost is $15, and lunch will be provided.

Presented by The Western Dairyland Business Center and Women's Business Center, the purpose of each industry roundtable discussion is to gather entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners in the same field to share their experiences and best practices, network, and find new and innovative ways to collaborate.

On July 1, 2017, Kristen and Michelle became the new owners of Forage EC. Chef Michelle, on the right, has worked in kitchens for two decades and was head chef at a Wisconsin brew pub for 11 years. Kristen is a home cook who has had a lifelong interest in all things food - even grocery shopping. As a shared-use commercial kitchen, Forage provides a licensed venue and affordable option for established and budding caterers, food producers, pop-up restaurants, and cooking instructors to work.

There are three ways to register: visit the website www.SuccessfulBusiness.org, call (715) 836-7511, ext. 1171, or stop in at 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703. Because space is limited, pre-registration and payment in advance are required.
