Cryptoamnesiac is a post-capitalist novel of speculative fiction, which follows Cosmas Redstone, a traveling Wisco-10 caretaker for the Order of Lethe, as he administers memory pruning treatments to his fellow OneGov citizens. The centuries-long peace that has followed from the development of anti-aging regimens and AI-directed scheduling software comes to an end as rival intelligences seek to make contact with forces beyond their comprehension, dropping Cosmas into a family feud he has largely forgotten.
About the Author: A resident of Eau Claire, Erik Meyer loves roleplaying games and science fiction worldbuilding. Cryptoamnesiac represents his first full novel, and he posts goofy drawings on Instagram as @wiscospeedro.
