WHEN: Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm (program at 7pm)
WHERE: The Coven Eau Claire (131 South Barstow St, Suite 202, Eau Claire, WI 54701). The Coven is a co-working space we are based out of locally, formerly known as CoLab, located on the 2nd floor of the Barstow Commons building (US Bank is on the 1st floor).
WHY: Citizen Action of Wisconsin, while based in Milwaukee since its founding in 1983, has had a strong presence in the Eau Claire area for most of that time, fighting for affordable and accessible healthcare, action on climate change, and electing progressives across the state. Our local members, volunteers, and current and former staff from the Northwest region have been an important part of the organization's history, especially since the founding of the Northwestern Wisconsin Citizen Action Organizing Cooperative almost 10 years ago!
