Wisconsin Farmers Union’s ‘Meat-ing’ series continues tomorrow


Wisconsin Farmers Union’s “Winter Meat-ing” series on the challenges and opportunities around meat processing continues from 12-1pm on Thursday, March 25 with a focus on educating the next generation of meat processors. The free and virtual event is open to the public. Guest panelists include:

Annual CAFO Update

Hosted by UW Extension in collaboration with WI DNR will be held online on February 2nd through 5th . The updates will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 each morning of the conference. The Thursday session has a presentation about keeping clean water clean. The Friday session has a presentation about discharging clean water from a manure treatment system. This might be a good update for farmers and for those nonfarmers who want to learn more about farming practices.
