The Menomonie Public Library announced today that they are joining many other businesses and organizations in the area by requiring face masks be worn by customers of the library. Their announcement requires masks on everyone age 3 and above who are visiting the library and goes into effect on Monday, August 3.

The Menomonie Public Library Board of Trustees has approved a policy change that will require all visitors age 3 and above to wear a face-covering or mask while in the library beginning Monday, August 3, 2020. This policy change reflects the Board’s concern for the health and safety of all library visitors, staff, and community.
With cases of COVID-19 on the rise in Dunn and surrounding counties, there is a need for all of us to take personal responsibility and wear a mask in public, which is recommended by health experts to slow the spread of the virus. Please help slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask so we can keep the library open. If you decide to visit the library, please bring a mask with you. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
If you don’t want to wear a mask to come into the library, curbside pickup is available, call 715.232.2164 to schedule. If you choose not to visit, digital resources are available on our website menomonielibrary.org and free Wi-Fi is always available in our parking lot.
