2034 cases of COVID-19 are confirmed in today's statistics. This is the first time a single day's case number was over 2000. The percentage of positive cases also went back up drastically in today's numbers, reaching 17.77 percent.

Today is the 13th day out of the past 14 that the percentage of positive cases has been over 10, and the positive case average over the past week is 15.12 percent. There have now been 94,746 cases of COVID-19 in the state, of which 10,800 are considered active. This is 300 more active cases than yesterday.

Four new fatalities were reported today, one each in Milwaukee, Outagamie, Shawano, and Sheboygan counties. A previously reported death in Menomonie County has been removed, so the total only increased by 3.

Dunn County reported 24 new cases today, Eau Claire County reported 62, and Chippewa County reported 13. Dunn County's numbers today reflect a 37.5% positive rate. The highest number of cases reported today was Dane County, with 258 new cases, but only a 7.93% positive rate, reflecting the very high rate of testing in Dane County.
