Dunn County Public Health Director KT Gallagher today released a new Health Alert for the COVID-19 pandemic. Health Alert 2, issued today, is very similar to the health alert issued on June 2, but increases the size of gatherings that are advised under the alert. The previous alert had recommended indoor gatherings be limited to 10 people, and outdoor gatherings limited to 20. Today's alert advises that county citizens should avoid indoor gatherings of more than 25 people, and 50 people outdoors. All gatherings of any size should continue to observe social distancing and the other health guidelines that have been recommended previously. People holding gatherings should consider creating a contact list of attendees with phone numbers to help with contact tracing should that become necessary due to the spread of infection.

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Dunn County continues to be stable at 29. 26 of those cases are considered to be recovered, and 3 are isolating at home and recovering. There currently are no hospitalizations for COVID-19 in Dunn County.

The complete Health Alert 2 is available as a document below.
