EB Ranch After the 4th Party/Camping June 16, 2019 - 12:06pm

Hey folks, come on out for a long weekend at EB Ranch. Bring your tents, food, and drinks and hang out on the farm! We can go for walks in the woods, visit some local breweries, help with farm chores, go canoeing or just chill out.

Please be respectful of the farm and it's animals. Be prepared for wood ticks and other annoying bugs. We can organize groups to go to breweries or canoeing before the event. Sober driver volunteers would be great!

Friday maybe folks just want to hunker down on the farm and hang out around a bonfire.

Pages and Pints Book Club-Say Nothing June 12, 2019 - 7:06pm

In December 1972, Jean McConville, a thirty-eight-year-old mother of ten, was dragged from her Belfast home by masked intruders, her children clinging to her legs. They never saw her again. Her abduction was one of the most notorious episodes of the vicious conflict known as The Troubles. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the I.R.A. was responsible. But in a climate of fear and paranoia, no one would speak of it. In 2003, five years after an accord brought an uneasy peace to Northern Ireland, a set of human bones was discovered on a beach.

My husband asked me to lie. Not a big lie. He probably didn’t even consider it a lie, and neither did I, at first . . .
In rural Virginia, Young and Pak Yoo run an experimental medical treatment device known as the Miracle Submarine―a pressurized oxygen chamber that patients enter for therapeutic “dives” with the hopes of curing issues like autism or infertility. But when the Miracle Submarine mysteriously explodes, killing two people, a dramatic murder trial upends the Yoos’ small community.
