Dunn County Sheriff Looking for Witnesses to Fatal Crash

The Dunn County Sheriff's office is looking for witnesses to the fatal car crash that happened on Thursday 3/14 at the intersection of Highway 12/29 and County Highway B. This accident involved a semi and an SUV. To be clear they are looking for witnesses to the actual crash, not the aftermath of the accident.

The League of Women Voters of the Greater Chippewa Valley sponsored a forum for Menomonie School Board Candidates at the Dunn County Judicial Center. The forum was held for a full house of spectators. Candidates presented an opening statement, and then were asked a series of questions from the audience.

Septic Spreading on Fields - what are the health hazards

The League of Women Voters of the Greater Chippewa Valley held a panel discussion on Feb. 28 on the health dangers of septage spreading on fields. The panel was moderated by Mark Leach, local ecologist. Panel members included Lindsay Olson, Dunn County Water Specialist, Paul Sterk, Waste Water Supervisor for Menomonie, Bob Colson, Planning and Zoning Manager for Dunn County, and Neil Koch, Retired Hydrologist.
