Eau Claire City Council Meeting - October 24, 2017

During their Oct. 24 meeting the Eau Claire City Council voted 7-1 to enact a rule barring children of council members from the dais. This issue came up because council member Catherine Emmanuelle has wanted to be able to breastfeed her new child while sitting normally on the dais at council meetings. This has been brewing as an issue in the council for some time now, and finally came to a vote.
