We are starting a new project aimed at recording local government meetings.  This is, in essence, an experiment. This is the first of those recordings, of the Menomonie School Board meeting from this Monday. Some of these meeting rooms are challenging due to arrangement, lighting, sound, etc. We will attempt to improve the quality of these meetings as time goes on.

#1d2129;" class="_63eu _63ev">On April 14th, due to an unseasonably strong winter storm, Eau Claire's March for Science, a satellite march to marches that happened around the world on the same day, was cancelled. We've rescheduled! And so we march on to celebrate our planet and call for science-based solutions to climate change!

Forage Eau Claire recently held a roundtable for Food Entrepreneurs in the Chippewa Valley.  The event was sponsored by Forage and the Western Dairyland Business Center. The discussion included the growth of Forage, the difficulties of being a food entrepreneur, and a tour of the Forage commercial kitchen and new pop-up food event space. The event was led by Forage owners Kristen Dexter and Michelle Thiede.

Folk, fiddles, and fun come to Eau Claire on Sunday. We were planning on heading on over to the cities next week to see Frigg at the Cedar Cultural Center. But this afternoon I was looking at (embarrasingly, my own) calendar on the site and realized they are playing in Eau Claire on Sunday.  Free and open to the public at Schofield Auditorium at UWEC.
