Canceled: 'Bring Her Home' Movie and Discussion

Marissa Cummings, the president of Minnesota's Indian Women's Resource Center, will be leading a discussion on the new documentary "Bring Her Home." A message from the director, Leya Hale, says that "although telling stories of pain and loss can be traumatic, I have made it my obligation to not only highlight the challenges my people face, but to offer stories of hope, resilience, and healing." The movie and discussion will leave its participants with a better understanding of the MMIW epidemic and how to be a better ally to Indigenous peoples. View related events here.
