Menomonie Wi Affordable Housing Panel 2

The city of Menomonie is working on a 20-year housing plan. The goal of this plan is to increase the amount of affordable housing in the area. Affordable housing is defined as housing that can be rented by families making 60% of the median income in the are, or purchased by families making 120% of the median income.

A series of meetings is scheduled to help to define the plan. The first meeting was held last week on Jan. 6. which is a panel discussion regarding housing needs. Panelists will include:

Cora Frank, Remax

Jody Carr, Dairy State Bank

Bruce King, Realtors Assoc.

Dave Nelson, Vets Plus

Heidi Hooten, Stepping Stones, and Health Dunn Right's Housing Action Team

An informational document about the project is attached below.

We attempted to do a live stream of the meeting but had some internet connection problems in the room. A regular YouTube video will appear here later tonight.
