Bike Chippewa Valley presents... WISCONSIN BIKE WEEK in EAU CLAIRE June 5-13, 2021

It’s time to celebrate all-things bicycling in Wisconsin! Join us for events in Eau Claire, including rides, a party, a rodeo and a tour!

Saturday, June 5th & Sunday, June 6th FREE entry to the State Trails and State Parks & Forests The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources welcomes residents and visitors alike to enjoy free access to State Trails and free entry to State Parks and Forests.

Saturday, June 5th, Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day 10am-1pm Eau Claire County Expo Center pavilion (Lowes Creek County Park entrance off or Lorch Ave) Join CORBA and Eau Claire Youth Cycling for their 4th annual event to get kids on mountain bikes! This event is for kids of all ages, and is free and open to the public. Parents, bring your bikes too! Helmets required. No experience necessary. Sunday, June 6th, Altoona Bike Rodeo 2 - 4 PM Altoona High School Parking Lot. The Altoona Police Department is having a Bike Rodeo for kids up to age 12. Activities at this event include a bike safety check, helmet fitting, and skills course The Bike Rodeo is FREE! All you need to do to participate is bring the following to the Rodeo: bicycle, helmet, parent or a completed permission slip. More details to come! https://www.facebook.com/events/376643976987840

Monday, June 7 CORBA Group Ride Arrive 5:45pm, Ride at 6:00pm Eau Claire County Expo Center pavilion (Lowes Creek County Park entrance off or Lorch Ave) Join CORBA for their weekly mountain bike Group Ride. This is a ride for all skill levels and whether you know the trails or not. You will break up into groups according to speed and no one will be left behind. Helmets required. County Parks parking pass required if driving in, purchased on site for $5, or get an annual pass.

Tuesday, June 8th Bike to work day. Some people work to bike. Other people bike to work. Be like other people. Ride your bike to work!!

Friday, June 11th 4-6pm Visit Eau Claire Experience Center Chippewa Valley Bike Map 2021 release party!! Come on in and see the newest, latest, greatest map for bicycling in the Chippewa Valley. It's hard to believe that the previous version is six years old already. But what's even harder to believe is how MANY new trails have been created in our area during that time! Stop by and see the updated map with fresh, new map smells!!

Sunday, June 13th Join us Sunday morning, June 13th, for a bike ride event!

Three routes with staggered starts:

8AM/63 miles (Metric Century) 9AM/30 miles 10AM/6 miles Family Ride

Supported with water, snacks, rest stops, sag wagons. T-shirts guaranteed to first 200 registered.

Cost:$30 - Individual (By May 15th) $40 - Individual (After May 15th)$ 60 - Family (Includes 1-2 parent/guardians, children under 17, 2 t-shirts)
