American Agriculture: Where Are We Headed? Join us for a day on the lake and a look at the future of our family farms, food systems, watersheds and rural towns — and why we must address monopolization in agriculture.

Governor Evers has been invited, and we also have several other special guests joining throughout the day!

12:45pm - Featured speaker Bill Baer, Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General and former Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust for the Obama Administration, addressing anti-trust issues and monopoly power in the agricultural sector
2pm - Adjourn with announcement of pie contest winners & pie social (Are you a baker? Bring a pie (or a few) and enter the contest!)

Wisconsin Farmers Union has been encouraging members to get to know the antitrust issues and has made "The Curse of Bigness," a book by Tim Wu, available for purchase. We'll have some time to engage with the core questions of the book during our conversation with Bill Baer and will also have some copies available at Summer Conference.
