Starting a Farmer-Led Watershed Council

Farmers looking to improve their land and bottom line through the implementation of conservation practices are invited to learn more about a proposed farmer-led watershed council in Chippewa and Eau Claire counties.

Farmers, landowners and other interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will gauge interest in the region. Organized by the Wisconsin Farmers Union, Chippewa County Farm Bureau, Chippewa County Land Conservation, and the Chippewa County Farmers Union, the event will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, September 6th at Dylan’s Dairy, 120 Main Street, Cornell.
