"The S Word [gives] voice to those who have not only survived, but have courageously transformed their personal struggles into strength, action and even humor - providing a window into the lives of those surviving and thriving beyond their suicide attempts. Through these stories will emerge a mosaic of humanity - yielding powerful emotional connections for those who feel alone."

Join us on February 29th for the opportunity to learn how to better provide support to those who have lived experience with suicide, and how to better examine our own experiences with suicide. After the screening, our panel members (TBA) will answer questions about suicide through lived experience, different ways to offer support, and ways to break the taboo of the "s word". There will also be peer supporters in attendance to provide support to anyone especially affected by the film.

This free event is hosted by Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance and Monarch House Peer Run Respite.
