Join us for a dive into the historical ballroom scene in New York! Paris is Burning tells the story of the people who made that scene what it was, and doesn't shy away from the raw experiences of oppression that many faced. Following the film will be a panel featuring key players in today's ballroom scene on the East Coast and right here in the Midwest.

The film will be shown in-person in the Great Hall of the Memorial Student Center. Our three panelists will join us virtually after the film screening at 9pm. Due to restrictions with film licensing, Paris is Burning will only be available to view in-person. The panel will begin at 9pm and can be viewed in-person in the Great Hall or virtually via Microsoft Teams. All are welcome to join the panel portion of the event. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only current students, faculty, and staff at UW-Stout are able to join us in-person. To tune into the panel:
