More about the music:
Since he was a youngster, Marcus Lere has been influenced by music. From the days of singing along to Michael Jackson, to learning the saxophone licks of Bruce Springsteen's own Clarence Clemons, and to jamming along to songs from Incubus and Silverchair, Lere dug deep to create his own brand of music that would inspire those who enjoy his compositions.

Now in his 20s, Marcus Lere continues to draw from the experiences of himself and others in his songwriting. He performs solo acoustic and in the rock band Waves Collide out of the Twin Cities. You can expect to hear everything between Matchbox Twenty to Tool. Collective Soul, Weezer, Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Blink-182, Incubus, etc...
