We made it through 2020 – and although we will be dealing with the health and economic impacts of the past year for a long time, we are trying to get back into a new rhythm. Everyone will be so happy when we can have full crowds and move around without wondering where we left our mask; however, it will take some time before we get there. This year’s annual fundraising dinner “Savoring the Arts” will be a smaller, more casual affair with a gourmet dinner and a performance sure to please. Laughter Is the Best Medicine features the fun, homespun and sage advice from the Looney Lutherans on issues of life, love and happiness – da Lutheran way!

We are not sure what April will bring so we are equipped for two options.

OPTION ONE – In-House Dinner and Entertainment: Enjoy an incredible four-course gourmet dinner by our friend and chef Jason TePaske along with a light and lively comedy musical show in the splendor of the auditorium. We will be following all CDC/CC Health Department recommendations.

OPTION TWO – Home Dinner and Livestream: Stay at home and enjoy a scrumptious meal at your pace and tune into a private livestream of the show. No need to get dressed up if you don’t want to…OR dress to the nines, take a picture and post on your social media post. We will package everything for pick up or for delivery. The soup and salad will be ready to eat. Just put the entrée into the oven before serving.

Cocktails start at 6:00 p.m. with light music and appetizers. The four-course dinner by Sweet Clarisse Catering starts at 7:00 p.m. and entertainment starts at 8:00 p.m. Each dinner will include a soup and salad, but the main performers will be the entrée, S.M.O.G. Pie (a dangerously delicious tender steak roasted with sautéed onions and mushrooms simmered in a shredded Gruyere Cheese and heavy cream sauce enclosed by a flaky pie crust), and dessert, Chocolate Lava Cake. If you prefer a non-red meat entrée alternative, we can substitute a fantastic fish pie. Tickets $75 per person

In-house seating will likely still be limited. Tickets cost $75 per person with $35 of each ticket considered a charitable donation.
