JONAH "Advanced"Leadership Series: Becoming an Effective Leader and Organizer

Topic: This final Week we end with building an understanding of trauma, how Adverse Childhood Experiences impact people's lives, and look deeper at resiliency. This is important to try and connect with as often our organizing work brings us to hear stories from people who have experienced ACES and can help us to bring them into their voice and be more inclusive.

May 12-June 16 Tuesdays 6-7:30pm

Now is a great time to learn new skills, build new relationships, and find ways to be more active and effective in building the beloved community. JONAH will be offering a 6-week leadership training series starting May12.

What: An interactive, community-building leadership development series that introduces the basic concepts, skills, attitudes, and disciplines needed to build strong, effective organizations capable of making real change in our community.

Who: Members of JONAH, people interested in JONAH, people who are new to organizing, people with experience looking for a refresher and new energy, people who are curious about organizing. JONAH Board Members and Task Force Leaders are especially highly encouraged to attend.
