There will be milestones, roadblocks to navigate around, and bumps in the road to 2020.
Some of them are known and need updates. Some need discussion and volunteer help.
Looking ahead, the issues that will likely dominate in this 'off year' will focus around the contest for nomination of a candidate to defeat Donald Trump in 2020.
But before we talk candidates, let's talk some of the big and new ideas emerging with popular support:
>>HR1: congressional bill to require disclosure of PAC contributors, universal voting regulations and rights, non-partisan redistricting, etc.
>>Green New Deal
>>Medicare for All
>>Wealth tax
>>70% top marginal tax rate
>>Co-determination for corporate governance
>>Raising the cap on Social Security taxes and raising benefits
