This workshop focuses on the learning basic and advanced techniques of making fermented soda and kombucha at home. Participants will learn how to capture a ginger bug, make soda and how to brew kombucha. We will also explore the art of flavoring fermented drinks using medicinal and culinary herbs. Students will be able to make and take home a flavor blend and starter cultures, so bring a couple jars.

REGISTRATION: Required for all classes. Payment is due at the time of registration.

CANCELLATION: Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 48 hours of the class start.
PARKING: We would love for you to park in the south side of the parking lot surrounding the shed.

All classes are held in Menomonie Market’s upstairs classroom. Stairs and elevator can be found at the back of the store within the meat department. Any food purchased at Menomonie Market can be brought to the classroom to enjoy during this class.
