People from all over the Chippewa Valley and beyond will gather for  Fun, ProFundity, and Fund-raising on Sat., Oct. 15, while dining on gourmet pizza, and listening to 10 musicians and speakers both in person and virtually.

Sponsored by Northern Spirit Radio, the event will include presentations by Mike McCabe of BlueJeanNation.com and Matthew Rothschild, former editor of The Progressive magazine. Music will be performed in-person by Ken Lonnquist, Madison's Minstrel for the Environment, and Eau Claire's Squirrel Talk, performing the music of tiny places. Also joining the event 'virtually' will be 6 musicians from across the USA: Magic Mama (Oregon), Si Kahn (North Carolina), Anne Hills (Pennsylvania), Peter Alsop (California), Tom Rowley (Missouri), and Peter Leidy (Madison, Wisconsin).

Emcee for the evening will be Scott Morfitt of BluGold Radio, and displays from local media sources will also be featured. A number of door prizes will be awarded by the end of the evening.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend. The meal, presentations, and music will run 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave., Eau Claire. You can RSVP here. The suggested donation for the evening and meal of pizza, salad, and beverage, is $30, and while we will be accepting donations at the door during the event, you can also do so in advance on our Donations page.
