WI Lost 4,500 Jobs in March, Jan #s Revised To Bring Total Job Loss Under Walker to -7,200

Another bad day in Wisconsin, thanks to Scott Walker.

First, we find that the that Scott Walker has gushed on and on about were not really all that great: Wisconsin only added 5,200 jobs in January, 83% less than than the 12,500 touted by Walker and far below most other states in the same time period.

Second, we find that the March numbers show that Wisconsin is once again on the wrong side of the ledger:  we lost 4,500 jobs in March.

All this means that since Walker took office the total number of employed workers had gone down from 2,737,800 when Walker took office in January of 2011 to 2,730,600 in the most recent jobs report-- meaning that since Walker took office, Wisconsin has lost 7,200 total jobs.
