Why no discussion of more State Senate recalls?

"After mixed success, Democrats reflect on what's next," the headline in the Journal Sentinel says.

Whatever's next, it apparently doesn't include any effort by Democrats to win one more State Senate seat in a recall, which would give them control of that house.

That possibility is never mentioned.

We made the case here recently for doing just that, but the media -- and the Democrats -- continue to talk as though recalling the governor is the only remaining alternative.

There's no reason we can't do that at the same time we go after some or all of the four vulnerable Republicans who were elected to the State Senate last November.

Has recall fatigue truly set it? If it has, we should abandon ship. If it hasn't, why not pursue every option?
