Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson recently went off on sinners, with a big emphasis on homosexuals:
I'm also pretty sure the Bible frowns upon state-mandated abortions and forced labor camps.
That's definitely not "inherit the Kingdom of God" material.
“Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong... Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men. Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”We get it, Phil is big Christian and likes to live by his interpretation of the Bible in whatever he does and will let you know that every time he opens his mouth. But, one thing that 'ol Phil doesn't talk about is that most of his profits come from selling cheap crap from jobs he's outsourced to China. That would be the same China where Chrisitians, according to a recent BBC report, "have long complained of persecution by Communist authorities, and human rights group claim the problem is getting worse." The BBC also quotes Peter Xu Yongze, talking about his torture during one of his five jail sentences for his belief in Christianity:
"They hung me up across an iron gate, then they yanked open the gate and my whole body lifted until my chest nearly split in two. I hung like that for four hours."I'm not sure what the Bible says about that, but I'm sure the old man (or woman or whatever) upstairs probably wouldn't like the way Christians are being treated in China and wouldn't like the idea of building-up such a regime by using their slave labor-- especially when it comes at the expense of putting freedom-of-religion Americans out of work.
I'm also pretty sure the Bible frowns upon state-mandated abortions and forced labor camps.
That's definitely not "inherit the Kingdom of God" material.
