Another chapter in the ongoing saga of election errors in Waukesha County, this one pretty recent:

BROOKFIELD - A mix-up at a Brookfield polling site caused 20 people to vote in the wrong race, a mistake that could be an issue if a contested state Senate race is close.

Overall, election officials have reported relatively few glitches, but Brookfield city clerk Chris Schmidt said the ballot mistake could switch votes in the race between state Senator Jim Sullivan and state Representative Leah Vukmir, who is running for Sullivan's seat.

"It's a great deal of concern to me. You don't want this to happen," Schmidt said. "On my end, I hope that the race isn't decided by 20 votes," she said.Schmidt said election officials briefed her on the problem.

Wanna bet who those "election officials" were?  The name Kathy Nickolaus comes to mind.
