[img_assist|nid=473725|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=300|height=300]A few days ago, Chris "Capper" Liebenthal told the story of the most epic fundraising fail of all time: Governor Scott Walker had sent out a fundraising letter literally telling parents to forgo Christmas presents to their kids-- specifically mentioning toys-- and instead "help give your children the gift of a Wisconsin that we can all be proud of (a campaign contribution to Scott Walker)."
Then yesterday, Think Progress picked up the story... then the New York Times and The Huffington Post... and in the blink of an eye the story of Walker's attempted stocking snuffer was everywhere: Even Great Britain's Daily Mail got it on the fun with a headline calling Walker a scrooge!
Walker, who has given repeated indications that he is running for president in 2016, has still not responded to the story, but did tweet last night that he "got a good chuckle from Duck Dynasty tonight."
Yep... he's ready for prime time.
