Walker: "Only Three Ways to Make a Living: You Either Make It, You Grow It, or You Mine It"

There he goes again.

Umm... let's see:  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are 2,346,200 non-farm, private sector workers Wisconsin and the breakdown goes like this:

3.8% are in construction

2 % are in the information sector

11.5 % are in the Professional and Business Services Sector

.13% are in mining and natural resources

19.1% are manufacturing sector

21.9% are in retail/wholesale Trade, Transportation and Utilities sectors

6.6% are in the Financial Sector

10.8% in th Leasure and Hospitality Sector

18.1% are in the Health and Education Sector

6.1% are in the Service Sector

Clearly, some of the categories fit completly or partially into Walker's "way to make a living" theory, but many clearly do not-- including the quarter of a million Wisconsinites that are in tourism-related jobs that could be hurt by irresponsible mining.

The fact that Walker would say something so stupid underscores a big reason why Wisconsn has lost jobs for the last six month in a row:  Walker's buffoonery.
