Lest there be any doubt about where the Scott Walker administration will come down in the choice between development and environmental protection, let it be noted that the two people running the Dept. of Natural Resources (DNR) are builders and developers.
Conservatives used to say DNR stood for Damn Near Russia. Now it stands for Don't Regulate Nothin'. Oops. Wrote that before driving my Prius to get a soy latte. That's DRN. What it really means is Do No Regulatin'. (In the hospital, it's Do Not Resuscitate, which may also fit this case.)
