Unabomber, Charles Manson believe in climate change; Michael Grebe doesn't

This  lovely and very expensive piece of roadside artwork appeared this week on the Eisenhower Expressway in the Chicago area, promoting an international conference of climate change deniers -- and paid for, apparently, by the Milwaukee-based Bradley Foundation.

The Heartland Insitute is behind both the billboards and the conference, which features a lineup of flat earthers, including Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, on the program.

Other billboards will feature Charles Manson and Fidel Castro, and perhaps Osama bin Laden and James J. Lee (who took hostages inside the headquarters of the Discovery Channel in 2010).

Those last two names are probably just the Heartland Insitute's idea of a joke.  Hee hee. Bin Laden probably does not still believe in climate change, however, since in his current location the climate is always the same.

According to tax filings from 2001 to 2010, the Heartland Institute received $905,000 in funding from the right-wing Bradley Foundation, headed by Michael Grebe, who's also a Republican mover and shaker and close confidant of Gov. Scott Walker (he chaired his campapign and transition team.)

Grebe, president and chief executive of the Bradley Foundation, told the Journal Sentinel in February that "over the years we have provided some funding to Heartland. I think last year we gave them some money for some climate-change work. We have a proposal pending from them now in the health care area."

Some money for climate change work?

to see what kind of work the Bradley gang is funding.
